We are proud to be one of Portugal’s Authorised Cambridge English Examination Centre. since 2012. However, Lucy Bravo, Knightsbridge’s Managing Director has vast experience in the field of Cambridge Examinations, teaching and teacher development and has been supporting Cambridge activities in Portugal for over three decades through the administration of examinations, as a Cambridge speaker at conferences in Portugal & Spain, as a speaking examiner and working closely with schools who prepare students for these examinations to ensure success!

We work with highly-skilled teacher trainers, teachers and examiners who have been involved with Cambridge exams preparation for many years therefore we can offer you the advice and support you need to help you and/or your students succeed.  

Our mission is to ensure that these exams are made available to all who wish or need to take them and ensuring that certification is given priority due to its importance in today’s world. Our aim is to support candidates in Portugal get the certification that they need to open doors to a better future, hence our tenet ‘Prepare Today for a Greater Tomorrow’. We will provide exams all year round to cater for candidates who need results fast and hope to have the computer-based testing up and running in 2013. Our aim is not just to provide certification but also the best training and support possible.


We will also be giving great importance to teacher training. As teachers, it is important to be constantly learning or recycling what we do to ensure that we are providing the best possible service to our students. We have conversation courses for teachers and have an annual teacher development programme. 

Our training centre will provide guidance to individual candidates preparing for the Cambridge English exams by providing short intensive courses to prepare students in short periods of time to cater for all the year round exams offer and for people wishing to emigrate or go study abroad. The training centre will also provide specialised courses for various field of work.
